Jay Frank (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) was honored by the New Jersey Athletic Conference for being selected to the 2009-10 NJAC Men's Basketball All-Conference Second Team.
The College of New Jersey guard currently leads the NJAC in scoring with 17.1 points per game. Frank shot 43 percent from the field, averaging 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.4 steals per game. He started all 24 games for the Lions averaging over 30 minutes on the floor, while leading TCNJ in scoring 13 times this season. Frank scored 20 points or more in nine of those games and excelled from the free-throw line shooting 82 percent.
During the season, Frank also surpassed the 1,000-point mark in a 66-60 win at New Jersey City University. He finished his career 12th on the Lions all-time scoring list with 1,220 points.
The College of New Jersey compiled a 13-11 record, falling just short of a post-season berth into the finishing with a 5-8 mark in the NJAC.
