Greencastle, IN … The College of New Jersey men’s and women’s track and field teams had four individual competitors and a relay team earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Track and Field National Championships held at DePauw University.
Seniors
Priscilla Senyah (Sayreville, NJ/Sayreville), Michelle Wallace (Emerson, NJ/Emerson), and junior
Jianna Spadaccini (Butler, NJ/Butler) received All-American honors on the women’s team for their individual accomplishments.
Junior
Kyle Gilroy (Oak Ridge, NJ/West Milford Twp) took seventh in the 55-meter hurdles finishing in 7.67 to capture All-American honors.
Wallace,
Katie Nestor (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands), Brielle Doremus (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex), and
Meryl Wimberly (Farmingdale, NJ/Colts Neck) earned honors on Friday for placing fourth in the distance medley relay with a time of 11:56.92.
Senyah placed third in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.15. Spadaccini broke her own school record in the 800-meter race posting a time of 2:10.45 to stake claim of third place. Wallace ran a time of 17:09.09 in the 5000 meters to take seventh place.
The women’s team placed third overall tied with Moravian College. The men’s team placed 34th overall.
