Ewing, NJ … The College of New Jersey women's tennis standout
Brittany Reedman served up another winner, but this time, it was in the form of a prestigious scholarship.

Reedman is one of just 20 women in North America this year to be awarded a 2017 Google Women Techmakers Scholar. As a recipient, she will receive a $10,000 scholarship towards her college tuition and was invited to attend the Google Scholars Retreat in Mountainview, Ca from June 18
th to June 21
st.

The vision of the program is to create gender equality in the field of computer science by encouraging women to excel in computing and technology and become active leaders and role models in the field. At the retreat, Reedman was able to meet and network with an abundance of influential figures in technology, attend seminars and collaborate with employees at Google and scholars from other universities.
