Donatelli had a strong showing in a pair of events at the Gotham Cup boasting a NCAA provisional distance in the weight throw and an ECAC qualifying toss in the shot put. He finished fifth in the weight throw with a heave of 16.58 meters and was second in the shot put with a distance of 15.30 meters.
