Herrick placed second out of 141 runners in the 800 meters at the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University as she posted an automatic NCAA qualifying time of 2:11.78. She was also part of the distance medley relay team that had a NCAA provisional time of 11:54.64 as that team finished fourth.
