Pierce was tabbed as the Swimmer of the Meet as the Lions captured their second straight Metropolitan Conference Championship. She won two individual events taking first in the 100 freestyle (52.11) and the 100 butterfly (56.31), with the latter time being a NCAA provisional cut. Pierce was also part of three relays teams that placed in the top five of their respective races.
