DiColo captured the title at 157 pounds at the Metropolitan Conference Championships winning all three of his bouts. As the second seed of the tournament, DiColo started with a 16-4 major decision over Hunter’s Matt Cartusciello and then beat Centenary’s Owen Vernon by the score of 12-4. In the finals, he knocked off top-seeded John Niedrich of York College, 7-3 and earned an automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Division III Championships.
