Klimowicz was tabbed as theState Farm/ WBCA Division III Player of the Year as well as the d3hoops.com Player of the Year. In addition to those honors, she was tabbed as a First -Team All-American and named to the 2009 NCAA All-Tournament Team. At the Final Four, she helped the Lions finish third, which was the program’s best finish in the NCAA Tournament. Klimowicz scored 19 points in a loss to George Fox in the semifinals and added 25 points and 12 rebounds as TCNJ won the consolation game over Amherst.
