Herrick was tabbed as the Outstanding Female Track Athlete as the Lions won the 2009 NJAC Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Herrick placed first in the 800 meters with a winning time of 2:17.14 and also took top honors in the 1,500 meters boasting a top mark of 4:40.73.
