Shtemberg was part of the 2009 Wilson/ITA Northeast Regional Championship doubles team as she teamed up with Felice Trinh to win the title. The duo went 5-0 in the tournament. The Lion also advanced to the semifinals in singles play picking up four more victories. She also won at singles and doubles against Richard Stockton as the Lions wrapped up their 27th straight NJAC title.
