Branham claimed the title at 149 pounds at the East Stroudsburg Open in a weight class that featured more than 70 wrestlers. Branham went an impressive 7-0 in the tournament scoring two of those wins by fall and another by major decision. He is currently ranked fifth nationally and is 10-0 on the season.
