Carbone placed second at the Sunshine Invitational this past weekend finishing the tournament with a record of 3-1. He opened the tournament with a pin and then advanced to the semis by getting past Heidleberg’s Robbie Brubeck. He then beat another opponent from Heidelberg with a 4-1 decision over Ryan Bowers, before falling in the title bout to nationally-ranked Andrew Neumann of Augsburg, 4-1.
