Gilroy won a pair of events as the Lions took on NCAA Division I Rider University in a dual meet. He won the 55-meter high hurdles with a NCAA provisional time of 7.62 seconds and then took first in the 200 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 22.77 seconds. He was also named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Track Athlete of the Week.
