Syciarz was named the most valuable player as the Lions won the 2011 NCAA Division III Field Hockey title. The senior goalie made 16 saves in a 2-0 semifinal win over Ursinus and then clinched the championship with seven saves in a 3-1 triumph over Middlebury. She finished the tournament with a .979 save percentage and 0.25 goals-against-average with three shutouts.
