Shtemberg posted a 6-0, 6-1 win over Vassar’s Debbie Sharnak in a match-up of two nationally recognized players. Shtemberg holds a ranking of No. 9 regionally in singles competition thus far and is now 23-3 overall this year and 11-0 in dual meet action, while Sharnak is ranked No. 6 regionally. Shtemberg and teammate Christina Contrafatto teamed up at No. 1 doubles for the win as they are now 21-4 together and 10-1 in dual action.
