Buchbinder helped the Lions defeat Christopher Newport 5-4 as he had the deciding victory at sixth singles by the score of 6-3, 7-6 (8-6). He also added a win in doubles in the second position. The sophomore added another win on Sunday picking up a 6-3, 6-4 triumph against his opponent from the University of Rochester.
