Rafferty boasted a strong effort in the javelin as he was third overall in the field of 33 throwers. He was the top finisher from a Division III school with a toss of 57.81 meters. The top two placer finishers were unattached. Rafferty was also recognized as the NJAC Rookie of the Week.
