August got off to a perfect start for for the Lions as TCNJ kicked off the fall portion of the schedule hosting its own invitational. The sophomore won his match in Flight "A" of the singles competition and then went 2-0 in doubles play ing Flight "A." Capped the Lions' Invitational with a combined record of 3-0.
