Lynch placed 17th overall in the 500 meters at the New York Gotham Cup and was the top finisher from a Division III school. He completed the race in an ECAC qualifying mark of 1:05.99. He was also a part of TCNJ's 4x400 relay team that finished 13th overall in 3:29.99.
