Weiss was a defensive lineman for the Lions' football team, received the Dr. Harold W. Eickhoff Outstanding Senior Male Scholar-Athlete award. A starter who compiled 22 tackles that included a pair of sacks, Weiss is a finance major and carries an overall grade point average of 3.917.
