John Rizzi had a phenomenal NCAA tournament, hitting .455 with seven runs scored, five hits, three walks, and a .727 on-base percentage. He was hit by eight pitches in four games and was a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases. In addition, Rizzi broke the program record for career stolen bases, finishing with 99. He also broke the single-season record for hit by pitches with 20.
