Gambone earned his first start for the Lions at linebacker, and led TCNJ with nine tackles in the game. His biggest play of the game, however, was a true showcase of heart and pride. Trailing 27-0, Gambone ran the distance of the field to chase down Frostburg running back Jamaal Morant to tackle him at the two-yard line and prevent a touchdown.
