Cooper continued her outstanding season, winning the NJAC Conference Championship race in a time of 21:35. She broke away from the rest of the field halfway through the race to cruise on to her first individual conference championship. Cooper was over 40 seconds faster than the runner who finished in second place. The Lions finished second overall at the meet.
