Skoog won the 100-backstroke championship final race at the Metropolitan Conference Championships with a time of 50.04. His finish was an NCAA B-cut time and was less than a half of a second off the program record of 49.56.Skoog was also a member of the 200-medley relay that posted an NCAA B-cut time with a finish of 1:31.59. Skoog earned yet another NCAA B-Cut time in the 200-back coming in at 1:49.13.
