Goculdas was one of two freshman on the men's tennis team to begin their career with a 3-0 weekend at the Lions' Invitational. He and doubles partner Sean Reilly defeated their opponents from NYU 9-7, followed up with an 8-6 win over the pair from Stevens, and concluded with an 8-4 win over the duo from Dickinson.
