Niall Carpenter has shined for the Lions early on in the 2017-18 season. In the Lions 72-67 win over NJAC opponent Rutgers-Camden, Carpenter scored a team-high 16 points on an efficient 5-7 shooting from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line. He also came up with three steals on the defensive end. On the season, Carpenter is averaging 16.3 points per game.
