In the Lions' quad match this past Friday, John Garda pinned his opponent from King's College just 22 seconds into the bout to extend the Lions lead to 34-0. TCNJ wound up defeating King's by a 58-0 margin, and the Lions additionally defeated Muhlenberg College 37-14 to go 2-0 on the day. Garda also won his exhibition bout with a 4-2 decision over his opponent from New York University. In his freshman season, Garda has wrestled to a 5-3 mark including a pair of pins.
