Dan Kilroy dominated in the NCAA Mideast Regional. He began the weekend with two pins in a total of 71 seconds to advance to the semifinals of the 174 pound weight class. In the semifinals Kilroy won by a 9-0 major decision to advance to the championship bout. He claimed his second consecutive regional championship with a 6-1 victory. In doing so, Kilroy punched his ticket for his third straight NCAA championship appearance.
