Stuart Gruters put forth a strong race in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Colonial Relays last weekend. He ran to a time of 9:25.06 which placed him fourth out of 38 competitors. That is the fastest time in the New Jersey Athletic Conference in the steeplechase this season. It is also the 21st best time in the nation and the fastest time by a freshman in the country this season. Gruters was also named NJAC Rookie of the Week for his efforts.
