TCNJ and Richard Stockton play to scoreless draw

Pomona, NJ...The College of New Jersey men's soccer team gained a valuable point on the road as the Lions and host Richard Stockton College ended in a 0-0 double-overtime tie on Wednesday.

The Lions now have 11 points in the New Jersey Athletic Conference standings with a record of 3-1-2. Overall, TCNJ is 5-4-4.

The Ospreys remain just behind the Lions with 10 points with a 3-2-1 record and are 10-4-1 overall.

In goal for the Lions, freshman Adam Friedman (Chester, NJ/West Morris Mendham) collected his first shutout as he made three saves, including one in the final seconds of the second overtime.

The Lions return home this weekend for another NJAC contest as William Paterson University invades TCNJ's Soccer Complex on Saturday for a 1p.m. start.
