Wayne, NJ...William Paterson University got a goal from Drea Wagoner (Little Falls, NJ/Passiac Valley) in the closing minutes as the Pioneers held off The College of New Jersey women's soccer team 1-0 on Tuesday.

Wagoner headed in a direct kick with 7:33 remaining in the game for the only goal of the contest.

The loss brought an end to TCNJ's six-game winning streak and the goal ended the team's stretch without allowing a score at 637:01.

The loss knocked the 16th-ranked Lions to 13-2 overall and 5-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference.

Senior keeper Jessica Clarke (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley) finished with a pair of saves.

The Lions return home on Saturday, October 24 hosting Ramapo College at 11 a.m. at TCNJ's Soccer Complex as part of homecoming weekend.
