Grantham, PA... The College of New Jersey saw its run through the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament come to end at the hands of a familiar opponent as the Lions fell to Johns Hopkins University 2-1 on Saturday.

The win puts the 12th-ranked Blue Jays (19-3-1) into the national semifinals against host and top-ranked Messiah College on Sunday at 6 p.m. in Grantham, PA. The Falcons (22-0) advanced with a 3-0 triumph over 16th-ranked Dickinson College (16-4-3).

The Lions completed yet another successful season with an 18-3-1 as they participated in the NCAA Tournament for the 20th straight year.

Johns Hopkins netted the game's first goal 22:32 into the game as Allie Zazzali scored unassisted.

Zazzali played a role in making it a 2-0 game 4:39 into the new half as she set up Paulina Goodman for the score with a cross.

The Lions trimmed the deficit in half with 15:30 left in regulation as junior Nikki Migliori (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) once again took advantage of a direct kick. This time she set up the goal on a restart with freshman Sloan DePiero (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) on the receiving end of the kick as she headed in her third goal of the season.
