Allison Foy (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), beat a Scarlet Raider defender, and slotted a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper to open the scoring at the 14:42 mark.
Just 41 seconds later, sophomore
Sloan DePiero (Ramsey, NJ/Ramsey) collected a rebound and lofted a well-placed shot from 25 yards out to push the lead to 2-0. It was DePiero's first goal of the season.
McGinley tallied her sixth goal of the season less than four minutes later when she fired a shot from the top of the box. The ball slammed into the upper left-hand corner, and TCNJ suddenly had a three-goal lead.

Jessica Davila (Middletown, NJ/Middletown) and deposited her fifth goal of the year.
Davila capped the scoring when she took a nice feed from freshman
Christiana Nielsen (Easton, PA/Easton) and patiently pushed a winner into the back of the net for her third goal of 2011.

Elizabeth Infante (West Orange, NJ/West Orange) got off three shots for Rutgers-Newark, while the Scarlet Raiders also received strong efforts from senior

Victoria Nunez (Perth Amboy, NJ/Perth Amboy) had four saves in goal for Rutgers-Newark.
