Allyson Anderson (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant) scored in the final 15 minutes as The College of New Jersey women's soccer team rallied for a 1-1 draw at Kean University on Saturday.
The tie was the first of the season for the 11th-ranked Lions as they are 9-2-1 on the year, while the Cougars are 9-2-3.
The Cougars scored a goal early in the second half to put the hosts out in front, but Anderson scored directly off of a corner kick with 11:45 remaining in the game to force overtime. The goal was her sixth of the season.
The teams then battled through a pair of scoreless 10-minute overtime periods, ending in a 1-1 draw.
