Hoboken, NJ... Stevens Institute of Technology scored a goal midway through the second half as the Ducks rallied for a 1-1 tie against The College of New Jersey women's soccer team on Wednesday in a match-up of nationally-ranked programs.
TCNJ opened the scoring with a goal in the opening half, while the hosts got that equalizer in the second. The teams then worked their way through a pair of scoreless 10-minute overtime periods.
The tie put the 20th-ranked Lions at 9-2-2, while the 22nd-ranked Ducks extended their unbeaten streak to six games as they are now 9-3-3.

Amy Van Dyk (Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) scored 17:32 into the contest as she followed up her own shot that was originally blocked. It was the midfielder's first goal of the season.
The Ducks pulled even 22:29 into the second half on a goal by Kyle Stephens.
The Lions had a chance to win the game in dramatic fashion late in the first overtime as
Katie Landrigan (Rutherford, NJ/Rutherford) had her shot was stopped by the Duck keeper and ensuing corner kick was then fended off by the hosts.

Cristina Gacos (Sea Girt, NJ/Wall) made all four of her saves in the second half.
In goal for Stevens, Kaitlin McClymont finished with 16 saves.
TCNJ held a decisive 33-8 advantage in shots and took 11 of the 13 corner kicks in the game.
The Lions round out the home portion of the schedule on Saturday, October 22 hosting New Jersey City University in an 11 a.m. kick-off at TCNJ's Soccer Complex.
