Doylestown, PA... The College of New Jersey wrestling team saw its 14-match winning streak come to an end as host Delaware Valley College pulled out a 21-16 win over the Lions on Monday.

The loss drops the 14th-ranked Lions to 18-2 on the season, while the 23rd-ranked Aggies square their record at 7-7-1.

TCNJ led 16-12 heading into the final two bouts, but the Aggies earned a decision and a pin to record their first win over the Lions after dropping the first seven meetings in the series.

Recording wins for the Lions were sophomore Dan Herr (Rockaway, NJ/Morris Knolls) at 133 by a major decision, senior Justin Bonitatis (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) record a pin in 3:36 at 165, sophomore Brian Broderick (Manahawkin, NJ/Southern Regional) won by decision at 174, and junior Mike Denver (Bayville, NJ/Central Regional) pulled out a 6-4 victory at 184.

TCNJ closes out the regular season on Friday, February 11 hosting 10th-ranked Centenary College in a 7:30 p.m. start in Packer Hall.
