Hoboken, NJ… The College of New Jersey women's soccer team netted a pair of early goals and never looked back as the Lions won their final non-conference game of the regular season with a 3-0 triumph at Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday.

TCNJ, ranked 11
th in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division III poll, is now 13-1-1, while Stevens drops to 8-7.

It took only 2:37 for the Lions to get on the board with the combination of
Sarah Marion (Hightstown, NJ/The Peddie School) and
Leigh Applestein (Pennington, NJ/Hopewell Valley) teaming up for the goal. Marion sent a cross from the right side that Applestein banged home for her sixth goal of the season.

That lead moved to two goals just over 14 minutes later when senior
Katie Lindacher (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Egg Harbor Twp.) used her speed to get behind the Duck defense and use a low shot for the goal.

TCNJ tacked on another goal in the second half with
Taylor Lusardi (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) getting the goal. That score came when she settled a Stevens clearing attempt and quickly lofted it into the goal. Lusardi's goal came 7:29 into the new period.

In goal for the Lions,
Kendra Griffith (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) recorded her fifth solo shutout of the season as she notched five saves.
