th-ranked Lions score two goals in the opening half and then punctuate the victory with another tally in the final 45 minutes.

TCNJ is now 5-1 overall on the season and 1-0 in the conference, while the Scarlet Raiders fell 4-3-1 and 0-1.

The Lions netted a pair of goals 5:01 apart in the second half with sophomore
Christine Levering (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) getting the first of those goals. She scored converting on a cross from classmate
Brianna Petro (Martinsville, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan). That goal came 17:55 into the contest.

Korrie Harkins (Wenonah, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) then doubled TCNJ's advantage a second over five minutes later when she knocked home a pass from Levering.

Levering carried her scoring touch over to the second half when she struck for her second of the game 10:29 into the new frame. This time she headed in a corner kick taken by senior
Jordan Downs (Brick, NJ/Brick) extending the lead to 3-0. The two goals raised her season total to four, which ties her for the team lead.

Kendra Griffith (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) made one save to earn the win and collect her third solo shutout of the season.

The Lions play at home for the first time in almost a month on Tuesday, September 23 when they host Fairleigh Dickinson University – Florham under the lights in Lions Stadium. Game with the Devils is set for 7:30 p.m.
