Galloway, NJ … The College of New Jersey men's soccer team bounced back from a tough loss yesterday to blank Brooklyn College 4-0 at the Stockton Seashore Classic hosted by Richard Stockton College.

The Lions (3-2) netted a pair of first-half goals and tacked on two more after the intermission to coast to their third victory of the season. They outshot their opponent 27-8 in the contest and sophomore goalkeeper Jacob Nesteruk (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) needed just one save to record his second shutout of the season.

As they have done in each of their three victories this season, TCNJ got on the board early as sophomore Nick Costelloe (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) deposited a feed from junior Andrew Kimball (Seaville, NJ/Ocean City) to go up 1-0 just 6:24 into the match.

Just over four minutes later, junior Jason O'Donnell (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) followed his own shot to pump in his third goal of the season. Costelloe and O'Donnell lead the team with three goals apiece.

After the intermission, sophomore Thomas Hogue (Ridgefield Park, NJ/Bergen Catholic) fielded a long pass from junior Jordan Kayal (Mahwah, NJ/Mahwah) and chipped a shot past the keeper to stretch the lead to 3-0.

Sophomore Clayton Flon (Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills) capped the scoring, taking a cross from junior Dan McMillan (Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) for his second tally of 2014.

TCNJ squares off against another tough opponent as they visit Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday, September 10 in Hoboken.at 7:30 p.m.
