Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey women's soccer team picked up another New Jersey Athletic Conference win on Saturday as the Lions cruised past visiting New Jersey City University, 9-0 on Saturday.

The 10
th-ranked Lions are 4-0-1 against conference opponents and are 9-0-3 overall. The loss dropped the Gothic Knights to 4-7-1 overall and 0-4 in NJAC play.

TCNJ used two quick goals to get rolling as senior
Taylor Lusardi (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) opened the scoring 19:27 into the game. Junior
Marissa Scognamiglio (Orangeburg, NY/Pearl River) made it 2-0 just 1:48 later with an assist from sophomore
Elizabeth Thoresen (Colts Neck, NJ/Red Bank Catholic).

Lauren Malajian (Haworth, NJ/Northern Valley) made it 3-0 six minutes later, cashing in on an assist from
Justine Larocca (River Vale, NJ/Pascack Valley).

Thoresen then made it 4-0, before Malajian added two more goals before the break, capping off her hat trick.

Freshman
Kate Galgano (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) then added two more goals for the Lions in the second half, while classmate
Kailey Russo (Vineland, NJ/Delsea Regional) added the other.

Jessica Weeder (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) earned the win as she had one save.

TCNJ continues league play on Wednesday, October 14 when they head to Rutgers-Camden for a 7 p.m. start with the Scarlet Raptors, while the Gothic Knights are at Ramapo College.
