The win put the 16th ranked Lions at 4-0-2, 1-0 in New Jersey Athletics Conference play while the Scarlet Raiders fell to 6-2, 0-1 in league play.

The Lions defense held the Scarlet Raiders to two shots, while the Lion offense took 18 shots.

TCNJ netted a pair of goals in the opening half as junior
Marissa Scognamiglio (Orangeburg, NY/Pearl River) and freshman
Marykate Sullivan (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) each scored.

The Lions tacked on three more goals in the final 45 minutes with junior
Sarah Marion (Hightstown, NJ/The Peddie School) scoring two of those and sophomore
Elizabeth Thoresen (Colts Neck, NJ/Red Bank Catholic) getting the other.
