Ewing, NJ... Kean University scored four straight goals to erase an early deficit as the Cougars got past The College of New Jersey men's soccer team on Saturday.
 
The loss was only the second on the season for the Lions as they fell to 6-2-2 overall and they are 0-2 in New Jersey Athletic play.
 
The match was the conference opener for Kean and they moved to 9-1 overall.
 
TCNJ got off to a good start as freshman Nick Provenzano (Stockton, NJ/Hunterdon Central) scored unassisted.
 
The Cougars tied the game late in the opening half and then took their first lead of the contest 2:49 into the new period. They then added two more goals in the final 10 minutes to close out the scoring.
 
Junior Jake Nesteruk (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks East) finished with three saves.
 
TCNJ continues conference play on Wednesday, September 30 when they head to Stockton University for a 7 p.m. start with the Ospreys.
