Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey men's tennis team snapped a two-dual losing streak defeating Wilkes University 7-2 Thursday afternoon. The Lions are now 4-2, while the Colonels fall to 8-2.
The Lions took a 2-1 lead in doubles getting wins at second and third with all three matches going 8-4.
Tim Gavornik (Millington, NJ/Watchung Hills) was the top performer in singles winning 6-0, 6-0. Four of the six singles matches went to third sets.
The Lions return to action Friday, April 6 at 3:30 PM when they travel to Muhlenberg College.
