EWING, N.J. – The No. 40 TCNJ men's tennis team cruised to an 8-1 victory over Goucher on Sunday. The Lions improved to 4-2 with the win, while the Gophers evened their record at 2-2.
 
In doubles play, 
Nick Matkiwsky and 
Akul Telluri got the Lions an early lead with an 8-3 win at number three. 
Matthew Michibata and 
Justin Wain followed with an 8-4 victory at number one. 
Thomas Wright and 
Nikola Kilibarda won, 8-6, at number two.
 
All five Lions' singles victories came in straight sets. Michibata won at number one, before Matkiwsky clinched the match with a win at number four. Wain, Telluri, and Kilibarda all won to produce the final score.
 
The Lions are back in action on Friday against NYU.
