EWING, N.J.- The TCNJ men's soccer team was unable to find a win on Wednesday night against Stockton, losing by a score of 5-1.

The Ospreys opened the scoring with two quick goals just three minutes apart from each other. The first came in the 15
th minute off a one-time shot to the top left corner of the net. The second came in the 18
th on a cross from the left side that was headed in at the far post.

It was just 14 minutes before the Lions cut the lead in half on a
Colin Kenville goal assisted by
Justin Dominique. Kenville took the pass from Dominique and shot with his left foot past the diving goalkeeper and into the bottom right corner of the net.

The goal was the third of the season for Kenville and the third assist for Dominique.

The Ospreys put a lot of pressure on GK
Walker Smith in the first half with nine shots and five on goal. Smith finished Wednesday night with 6 saves in his second career start.

The Ospreys tacked on three more goals in the second half and shut out the Lions in the last 45 to secure the 5-1 victory. TCNJ tried to fight their way back in the game, but the stout Stockton defense prevailed. On the season, they average less than a goal allowed per game.

The loss brings the Lions to 6-7-1 overall with a 1-4 record in the NJAC.

TCNJ shoots for a top-15 upset this Saturday when they head to Montclair St. to play the No.13 ranked Red Hawks at 7:00 p.m.
