GALLOWAY, N.J. – Victoria D'Imperio scored one goal and assisted on the other as the No. 10 TCNJ women's soccer team held on for a 2-1 NJAC win at Stockton on Wednesday night.
D'Imperio set up
Alyssa Alfano's early opener and extended her goal-scoring streak to three games a few minutes later, just enough for the Lions (8-0-2, 2-0) to keep their unbeaten record intact.
The Lions came out firing, with
Ava Curtis ringing the crossbar as part of four shots in the first four minutes and change. The visitors cashed in on the opening salvo with an opener from Alfano, who tapped in a pass from D'Imperio off a scrum in front of the goal, and five minutes later D'Imperio headed a lead pass from
Caroline Rebele into the top left corner of the net to double the spread.
TCNJ averted danger early in the second half as a Stockton shot caromed off the left post. The Ospreys broke through in the 79
