EWING, N.J.- The No. 12 ranked TCNJ wrestling team celebrated Senior Night on Friday evening with a 37-11 win over Centenary. The Lions (12-5) won all but two bouts against the Cyclones (3-2), forfeiting one of the two.
 
No. 15 Matthew Griffin (125) kept up the pace on his nationally ranked campaign, beating Jack Thode in a major decision by a score of 13-3.
 
Junior Kyle Nase (133) followed Griffin with another win, this one an 8-2 decision against Daniel Haws.
 
After a forfeit at 141, Mike Conklin (149) made quick work of Aaron Briscoe, pinning him with just seven seconds left in the first period.
 
Freshman Ryan Datz (157) improved to 12-9 on the season with a 14-3 major decision victory over Mark Venson.
 
No. 2 Nick Sacco (165) continued his undefeated dual streak, extending it to 16 matches in a row with a tech. fall win against TJ Pawlicki.
 
After a forfeit from Centenary at 174, senior Reid Colella picked up another major for the Lions as he beat Angelo Piazza by a score of 14-1.
 
Following a loss at 197, Senior Peter Wersinger closed out the night for TCNJ with a bang, winning 19-4 by technical fall against Dalton Deevey.
 
The Lions are back to the mat on Saturday afternoon as they head to Mechanicsburg, PA. for the final dual of the season against Messiah at 1 PM.
