CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 42 TCNJ women's tennis team served up yet another NCAA first-round victory on Friday, making short work of Manhattanville in a 5-0 sweep at MIT.
The Lions extended their remarkable streak of seasons with an NCAA Tournament victory to 17 and booked a date with No. 10 Middlebury – a 5-0 winner over Colby-Sawyer – in Saturday's second round.
TCNJ led 2-0 before it even took the court due to Manhattanville only managing to field five players, thus forfeiting third doubles and sixth singles.

- Robinson collected the win for the Manhattanville forfeit at No. 6
- Warner double-bageled Mikhalia Grant at No. 5 for the clinching point
- Priyadarshini was up 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4 when the match ended
- Albert won her first set, 6-0, and trailed 1-0 in the second at No. 2, while Eisenberg had just polished off a 6-1 first-set victory
- Abalos trailed Pretnar, 3-2, in the first set at No. 1

- TCNJ has won 10 consecutive NCAA openers via 5-0 sweeps; the last time the Lions conceded a point was a 5-3 defeat of SUNY Geneseo in 2013
