UNION, N.J. – The TCNJ women's tennis team made short work of Kean in its NJAC opener on Saturday, conceding games on just one court in a 7-0 sweep.
Zoey Albert and
Shruti Mannan won 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, a score matched by
Eleni Dakos and
Gabrielle Brideau at No. 2 and by
Elizabeth Ring and
Gabriella Robinson at No. 3.
Dakos was the lone Lion to drop games in singles play, posting a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Angela Leonardis on the top court.
Albert (No. 2), Brideau (No. 3), Mannan (No. 4), Robinson (No. 5), and Ring (No. 6) all won by 6-0, 6-0 double bagels.
