GALLOWAY, N.J. – Thursday proved to be a tough day for the TCNJ baseball team, as they fell on the road to the Stockton Ospreys.
Everything went right for Stockton (6-18), who enjoyed great pitching and batting on their home field. Stockton starter Nick Kowlalewski earned his first win of the year by throwing a three-hitter in eight innings. The Ospreys' bats gave their pitcher plenty of run support, scoring 14 runs on the day.
TCNJ's (11-15) three hits came from
Nate McLaughlin,
Braden Dromboski, and
Antonio Destribats. McLaughlin led off the game with a double, while Dromboski's hit —a single into left field— came in the fourth inning. Finally, in the seventh inning, Destribats hit a ball down the left-field line to earn himself the first extra-base hit of his collegiate career.
